Additional shows premiereing this week include, No. 2, an award winning one woman show from New Zealand featuring renowned actress Madeleine Sami, Death of the Freak Show by Calgary's own Swallow-a-Bicycle and the 13th annual Wine Stage where seven wine merchants and 12 dining establishments showcase their creative culinary genius all in support of One Yellow Rabbit Performance Theatre.

The High Performance Rodeo in partnership with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra will also preview the Afghanistan Requiem on Wednesday January 25 at the Cathedral Church of the Redeemer. Join us as Suzanne Steele and Jeffffery Ryan give a sneak peak of this distinctly Canadian requiem.

As the final week of the 2012 High Performance Rodeo, we don't want you to forget about two productions that have received tremendous reviews. Taking Shakespeare, with John Murrell and Denise Clarke has received rave reviews from the Calgary Herald and CBC Eyeopener. As well, The Ugly One, at Lunchbox Theatre has been called "beautiful" and "a surreal surprisingly raunchy dark comedy". Be sure to check them out because this is the final week of the 2012 Rodeo.
