Pearle Harbour's Chautauqua

Part Cabaret, Part Tent Revival, All Drag.

Be honest: how are you doing, really? Are you behind on your emails? Are you worried? Afraid? Lost? You are not alone. Come together under the milky folds of Pearle’s beautiful tent and be sheltered from the disharmony of our troubled times.

Pearle Harbour is an All-American gal who’s sweet-as-pie and sharp-as-nails! Pearle Harbour was born when America was still great. During the War, she served as a stewardess aboard top-secret bomber missions; becoming a superstar stewardess of the air force, masculine nasty woman, and tragicomedienne.

The Audience Choice Award-winner at SummerWorks (2017), Pearle Harbour’s Chautauqua is an immersive extravaganza: part cabaret, part Tent Revival, part drag. Music, sing-alongs, puppet shows and even an exorcism! The world may be falling apart, but Pearle will show you that there’s more that unites us than divides us. You betcha!

Pearle Harbour has been called "the very definition of letting it rip" (My Gay Toronto). A wartime wonder and tragicomedienne, her work has been presented at Theatre Passe Muraille, The RISER Project (WHY NOT Theatre), the Rhubarb Festival, The Cultch, OUTstages (Intrepid Theatre), The Second City, Opera5, the University of Toronto, and countless other theatres, clubs, and cabarets across Canada. She is an artist-in-residence at Buddies In Bad Times Theatre, and has somewhat ironically received a Dora Award-nomination for Outstanding Male Performance.
